About This Coaster
Hinoki cypress has the aroma of woodsy pine and subtle citrus notes. The smell evokes a traditional Japanese onsen or hot springs experience which comforts and soothes. This coaster has a kiku or chrysanthemum shape, a prevalent Japanese motif used for the imperial family crest as well as patterns on textiles and teaware to symbolize longevity and the seasons.
